We offer a variety of class options, ranging from 2hrs to weekly classes for 6 weeks.

Our gallery exhibits and sells functional and collectable pottery. All are locally made by the talented club members. Quality pieces at affordable prices.

Clay & Firing

We stock a range of pottery clays for purchase by the general public during Gallery opening hours.

The club offers two electric kilns for Members’ only firing services.

Kiln training is complimentary for all Members.

Clay Sales

We stock clay from FEENEYS, WALKERS, KEANES, CLAYWOKS, BLACKBOROUGE, BENNETTS, and BLACKWATTLE.

Kiln Access

Bisque firing, earthen ware firing and stoneware firing. Available to members only. Kiln training is free.

Membership to the Darling Downs Potters Club (DDPC) Ltd is 

an annual subscription, commencing on 1st July every year. 

Some of the Membership Benefits:

  • 24/7 access to Club Workroom, excluding designated class times
  • Access to club facilities: Pottery Wheels, Slab Roller, Pottery Boards, Pottery Tools, Work Tables, Club Library, Basic Kitchen Facilities
  • Exhibit & sell your created works through the DDPC Gallery (Gallery standards & commissions apply. See Gallery Standards for further details.)
  • Participation in Monthly Members’ Workshops
  • Access to use of the Members Only on-site Electric Kilns for firing (Please note: $70 fee per load applies)
  • Complimentary basic kiln training available for Members, including printed user guide and supervision/support, as required
